Submission Information

Eligibility Criteria

  • Team size: 1 (min) to 6 (max)
  • At least one team member is affiliated with the University of Cambridge (students, alumn, postdocs, fellows, and lecturers included)
  • Research or Venture has received less than GBP150k in funding to date
  • Aims to integrate or has integrated blockchain or other forms of distributed technologies into their solution/research in any way or form

What to submit

Tell us about yourself and your idea:
  1. Team contact information (name, email, affiliation)
  2. Abstract: describe your research or venture idea in 50 words or less
Attach a Pitch Deck or Research Paper/Proposal (max 10 slides, PDF or PPTX)

Your presentation deck should tell us about the following. The number of slides are only suggestions, feel free to structure it whichever way tells your idea the best

If you are submitting a venture idea:

  1. Describe the Idea
    1. The problem (2-3 slides)
      1. What is the problem you are solving?
      2. Why is this important?
    2. The solution (2-3 slides)
      1. What is your solution? Please be specific (what have you created or intend to create)
      2. Why is your solution novel, unique, interesting, or disruptive?
      3. Why are decentralised technologies (blockchain or any other form) or decentralisation a good solution for this problem?
      4. What have you achieved to date, technically and commercially?
